Excellent hotel and location
We stayed here for four nights. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Nothing too much trouble . Room was excellent everything you require for a lovely stay. WillDefinitely be back.

The Perfect Place to Recharge
We booked this hotel at the last minute after a stressful week at work and a need to recharge ourselves and left feeling just that.We spent the afternoon in Wensleydale Creamery before checking in and the man at the reception kindly let us store our cheese purchases in a fridge before recommending a visit to the Yorkshire Dales Brewery for some ale and folk music.We spent an hour in the brewery before heading back for a siesta before our evening meal.The meal itself was delicious and cooked very well. Despite the delay in the food arriving we were well looked after by the staff.After our meal we found that the folk band had migrated into the bar from the brewery so spent the rest of the night singing along before heading to bed.Our room was very comfortable, the bed was like sleeping on a firm cloud, the pillows were the same so you felt supported but not sleeping on a rock and the room itself was very clean and tidy.The shower and bathroom facilities were also very clean. The added touches with the toiletries, tea and coffee facilities were very well received.My biggest compliment to the hotel was the towels. Most hotels give you a hand towel sized towel to use after a shower and I almost danced out of the shower when I found an actual bath towel that I could wrap around myself.The breakfast selection was very good with cereals, fruit, yoghurt and pastries that you could help yourself to as well as a hot food selection.The Yorkshire Breakfast was delicious and well cooked.We will definitely be returning.

Middle house
This is our 3rd stay at middle house and we love it , the rooms are bright , nicely decorated and comfortable, the staff are always warm and friendly and the food is excellent. Without hesitation I would highly recommend.
