Great place to stay
We stayed here for the firt time last week for three nights. John and the team were brilliant.Service was all we wanted it to be, attentive butbnot oppressive and helpful on all occassions. We ate in the hotel on two nights as the food was really good.Breakfasts were excellent too. We ate our evening meals in the bar, but restaurant seating was available if preferred, but as we could eat the same menu in the bar we liked the informality.We took advantage of the nice garden area at the rear, we were blessed with very good weather for April.Our room (1) was large with a seating area by theTV and drink making facilities. It was all clean, the bed was comfy and the windows opened (often not an option in some hotels). We were advised on arrival that the room was not serviced daily, which we prefer, but we could request anything and it would be provided, new cups, restocks of anything required including the complimentary goods. Having stayed in three hotels over that week this was by far the best and I can't think of anything negative at all.It is a great location for exploring the Dales and very good value for money.We will book in again on our next venture north.

Absolutely perfect for a short break
This was our second visit in a few months for a short break and we will certainly be back.Lovely room and spotlessly clean.Breakfast and evening meal excellent.We booked direct and got a deal with a contribution towards dinner.Owner and staff friendly and helpful and give the impression of a happy team.Highly recommended for a restful break in the heart of the Dales.

Booking Cancellation Policy

Changes and cancellations to bookings made up to 7 days prior to arrival are without charge.
Bookings cancelled within the7 days before arrival will be charged a non-refundable cancellation fee of The total cost of the booking.
Any deposits paid are non-refundablen at any time.

Terms & Conditions

1.Check-in
Check in is from 4.00pm to 8pm.
If you expect to arrive later than 8.00pm, do let us know so that we can assist you. If you are delayed on your travels, please call to advise us of your time of arrival.

2.Check-out
Rooms must be vacated by 11:00am on the day of departure. Early check in and late check out can be arranged, subject to availability and fees.

3.Smoking
In accordance law, smoking is not permitted anywhere within the hotel. This also includes vaping. A penalty fee of £100 will be charged for deep cleaning if guests have been found to smoke in bedrooms.

4.Pets
We do welcome well behaved dogs into the hotel and have designated pet friendly rooms. Please notify us if you are bringing a dog so we can allocate a room accordingly. A one of charge of £25 will be added to your reservation. Dogs are not permitted in the restaurant.

5.Lift
We do not have a lift in the hotel and our all rooms are located on either the first or second floor. Access to bedrooms is via our main staircase.

6.We require debit or credit card details to secure your booking - your card will be verified by a charge of £1.00. The balance of your stay will be taken on the day of check in. If you cancel 7 days before the date of your stay there will be no further charge. If you cancel within 7 days of your stay we will charge the full amount. For group bookings a non-refundable deposit of 50% will be required, bookings of 4 rooms or more will be considered a group booking.
Any deposits paid are non-refundable and cannot be transferred.

8.Should guests wish to curtail their stay, they will still be liable to pay the full amount for all the nights originally booked.

9.No persons in excess of the number agreed at the time of booking are to occupy the room.

10.We reserve the right to terminate the visit of any person whose conduct we consider detrimental to the comfort of others.

11.The Middle House will not be liable for failure to comply with any terms and conditions of this agreement to the extent such compliance is prevented, hindered or delayed by any cause beyond its control including but not limited to fire, storm, explosion, flood, act of God, action or advise of any Government or Government Agency, shortage of goods, strike or lock-out, failure of supply of electricity, water or gas, gas leakage or water leakage.

12.Please take care with our facilities. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. Whilst we do not normally charge for minor damage, we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant. Failure to report damages to us may result in delays in repairs and inconvenience for subsequent guests. We reserve the right to charge an additional £100 for such incidents if unreported. If additional cleaning is required we also reserve the right to charge £100.

13.No liability shall be accepted by us for any loss or theft of, or damage to, the personal property of guests whether in the buildings or grounds of the White Rose Hotel or any vehicle. No liability shall be accepted by the owners for accident or injury to guests, either within the property or outside.

14.Please do inform us as soon as possible if you have any complaint regarding the accommodation or if you find anything faulty which requires our attention. Due to the generally limited period of hire, it may not be possible to effect repairs during the period of hire.
